Sledrunner Financial Services was established as an independent firm in 2003 by Tom Gauntlett.  Tom was previously with Scott Doerschler Messner Gauntlett for over 20 years.  He is currently a Branch Manager for Raymond James Financial Services, Inc., member FINRA and SIPC. The three other staff members of Sledrunner have over 30 years combined experience, and were previously with SDMG.

 

About Our Name

The name Sledrunner is from a family home on Lake Champlain in Shelburne, Vermont across the bay from Burlington.  The house is on a peninsula of land called Sledrunner Point.  I have been visiting this place for the past 25 years, and when we were looking for a name for our new business Sledrunner came to mind.  A Sledrunner helps to keep you on track, and that is what we do financially for our customers.
